New Year Big Goal! 

2017 is here! Happy New Year to you all! After totally changing the way we eat over the last few years, dealing with being ill through 2 pregnancies, PND and Anxiety, along with all the other things life has thrown our way I’m ready to finish this and get the weight off this year, i want to not only feel comfortable with myself but be healthy too.

After speaking with my sister in law and setting my list of priorities for this year loosing weight is one of my top goals like it is for alot of people right now, so today starts my big goal for 2017 and that is to loose 4 stone, but to make it more achievable I’m going to break it down, my first goal would be to loose 2 stone by little t’s birthday at the end of April, i want to loose a minimum of 2lb a week or 7lb a month. Then i want to loose another 2 stone by little s’s birthday at the begining of November, which is a longer period of time but as i know from before i always loose more at the begining and once summer is over working out everyday just seems more difficult so I’m using the times i have the most energy. In September 2015 i manged to loose a stone and in the spring/summer of last year i lost 2 and half stone always trailing off in the autumn time with getting ready for Christmas and catching colds.

Since then I’ve managed to keep the weight off except for 2lbs but our bodies can fluctuate that much either way. I weighed myself this morning and I’m right on a stone mark which will make it easier to keep track. I can’t use the shake that i did last time because its no longer available which means I’ve been on the hunt for a new one, the reason I like to make sure i have a shake is so that i know im getting everything i need, with two little ones at home mealtimes can be a challenge so i don’t always get breakfast and with working out i need to make sure i keep my energy up so a good shake and supplements is the way for me, plus water!! The shake I’ve chosen to try this month is doterras trimshake in chocolate flavor, look out for a review at the end of the month. The most important thing to remember to get plenty of is water! Not only is it essential for all the organs in our body to function properly but it will help flush all the nasty fat away and keep my energy up, my goal is to make sure i drink 3 liters a day!

I will be starting Jillian Michaels 30 day shred again. I know it will be tough at first, its going to hurt and im going to sweat buckets but i know it works! It will also help to remember the reason im doing it, thats what will get me out if bed earlier every morning. The workout is intence and sometimes its tiring but I’m going to do this, I’m going to have a healthy body and its going to feel great!

  1. Congrats and I love 30 day shred, i keep trying to get round to doing it again myself but know how hard it is those first few days and keep stalling lol

  2. Keep going! I’m working on adding in more cardio to push through added weight over the past few months. Moving to a new city has made me sad and I haven’t been watching what I eat or my activity levels.

  3. I think getting active and being happy with how you look can do wonders for your health and mentally too. It’s really important so it’s no surprise that so many people like to do that in the new year. Best of luck and hope you are well in 2017.

  4. Losing weight can be challenging but you have the right attitude to get it done. I really like 30 day programs, you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’ll be starting the 21 Day Fix again at the end of the month.
